TLAD 2010 again...
I'm writing this on the train home from TLAD 2010 (wow! today was the first time I've been on a train! how exciting!)... as I type this a whole bunch of people have just got on the train, this just went from exciting to uncomfortable :(

Anyway, I presented cognatus and (apart from getting an error when trying to add a selection) it went quite well. The software mostly behaved as I expected it too which almost never happens in a live demo!

I was rather nervous before hand being that (due to some personal issues recently) I hadn't prepared for the presentation at all before yesterday, but the atmosphere was a lot less formal than I expected and I quite enjoyed it.

I thought a lot of the other presentations were rather interesting too, covering a range of current issues for database lecturers that, as a student, I wouldn't normally consider.

All in all a good day.
